Governor's Cup

On October 4th, Chop Shop competed at the 8th annual Governors Cup at Plymouth State University. Governor's Cup is a FIRST Robotics off-season Competition where teams compete for the Governor's Award and is open only to teams from New Hampshire. Seniors from the winning teams are granted a free semester of tuition at any school in the university system of New Hampshire. While at the event Chop Shop played 5 qualifying matches, winning 3 and ending the preliminary rounds ranked 11th out of 29 teams. For the playoffs, we were selected by the captain of the 3rd alliance (Team 1729 - Team Inconceivable! From Peterborough) and our third partner was Team 8724 - Mayhem from Bedford. This event had many guests such as Dean Kamen, the founder of FIRST and Governor Ayotte!
