Girls Behind the Glass

On November 2, Chop Shop traveled to Alton Bay to compete at Girls Behind the Glass, an event run by FIRST Robotics teams Big Bad Bob 319 and the LakerBots 8046. This event is special because it was created to highlight all girl drive teams! We ended as finalists for the second year in a row at this event, bringing home another new award for our team! 

As a new ambassador team for FIRST Like a Girl Chop Shop ran a table to hand out free candy and pins. We also held interviews with female students, mentors, and volunteers to talk about their experience with FIRST and why they joined.
