FIRST Championship

On April 29 to May 2, Chop Shop traveled to Houston to compete in the FIRST Championships. The world championships  brings in teams from 66 countries and more than 19,000 student participants. This year there were 599 FRC teams, another 400 teams representing FTC and FLL.

Chop Shop competed in Curie divion and after 10 qualification matches we placed 39th out of 74 teams.

During alliance selections we were selected as the second pick of Alliance #1, captained by FRC 5907. The Alliance was rounded out by FRC 6369, and FRC 8595. After our alliance was assembled we fought hard against other alliances all through the playoffs and made our way to the Curie finials where we were eliminated.
